Presence Without
Exposure.

Signal is a controlled network built for presence without exposure. In a world where everything is tracked, labeled, and archived, Signal moves differently: visible by design, reachable by choice, and locked through intentional access.

Visibility is public. Access is private. Your account runs on handle, Signal Code, password, and recovery code. No open lines. No forced identity. No uncontrolled contact.

Signal Codes gate direct access. Trade codes, then connect. If someone does not have your Signal Code, they do not have direct access to you.

You are not the data. You control the signal.

Faceless Animal Studios · FAQ

Straight
Answers.

Signal is the anonymous-first social platform built by Faceless Animal Studios. This page explains how identity, recovery, posting, radio, directory discovery, messaging, calls, pages, moderation, and plan tiers actually work in plain language.

What Signal
Actually Means.

What is Signal on this platform?

Signal is a controlled network where you can exist publicly without giving up control of who can reach you. It connects identity pages, posting, radio, directory discovery, and private communication under one gated system.

How is this different from a normal social network?

Signal is not built around follower games, open-access inboxes, or ad-driven loops. You operate through platform-native identity, publish intentionally, and use Signal Codes to control direct connection.

How do radio, directory, pages, and feed connect?

Radio is the live listening layer. Directory is discovery. Creator pages are persistent identity hubs. The feed is live activity. DMs/calls are direct communication. Signal is the system that binds all of those into one user experience.

Anonymous-First
Access.

Do I need email to create an account?

No. Account identity is based on your handle, Signal ID, password, and private recovery code. Email and phone identity are not required for signup, login, recovery, or communication access.

What is the recovery code and why does it matter?

Recovery code is your ownership key. It is generated and stored as part of account setup. Save it immediately. If both password and recovery code are lost, the account cannot be restored.

Can support manually recover my account without my code?

No. The policy is intentionally strict to protect anonymous ownership and prevent social-engineering takeovers. No recovery code means no restoration path.

Signal Flow Engine
And Credits.

What is the Signal Vault?

Your Signal Vault is your control center and credit engine. It manages your Veil posture, access layer, and Signal Credits in one live system.

What is Signal Flow?

Signal Flow is the rate your Vault generates Signal Credits while you are active. Higher Veil tiers increase your flow multiplier and expand your daily earning ceiling.

Do I earn credits just by being online?

Yes. While you are signed in and active in the network, your Vault runs and credits accumulate based on your current Veil tier and daily cap.

Why upgrade Veil?

Upgrading Veil increases privacy posture, control posture, and Signal Flow strength. It is both an identity setting and an earning-power setting.

What are Signal Credits used for?

Signal Credits power Boost Signal, Visibility Burst, Featured Page Highlight, priority placement paths, advanced creator controls, and future cosmetic/voice extras. Core communication features stay free.

Are DMs and calls paid with credits?

No. DMs, calls, Signal identity, and core posting stay free. Credits are used for acceleration, visibility, and premium control actions.

Messages & Calls
Rules.

Are DMs and calls paid features?

No. DMs and calls are core platform communication features and are free by default.

Why can people not just message me directly?

Because access is earned, not assumed. Direct contact is gated by Signal Code connection state. No code, no contact.

What can be gated by premium plans?

Storage-heavy features (file uploads, attachment storage, and premium creator tooling) can be gated by plan. Communication access can be restricted by moderation controls when safety policy requires it.

Where does voice changer fit?

Voice changing is treated as part of the communication stack, not a cosmetic extra. It belongs in the same layer as messaging and calls and is part of the product direction for anonymous expression.

How Feed Activity
Works.

What can I post?

Signal supports text updates, announcements, status updates, link shares, image references, audio/music references, and event-style posts. Posting tools are integrated into the dashboard feed composer.

Will my post show instantly in public?

Your post shows in your account history immediately. Public stream visibility follows moderation state and visibility rules.

Why does the feed use moderation states?

Moderation states keep the platform alive without becoming spam-heavy. This allows open posting while preserving quality and safety across public feed surfaces.

Enforcement &
Account Safety.

What actions can moderators/admins take?

Moderation controls include warnings, account limits, suspensions, bans, role changes, and soft-delete workflows. Actions depend on role and policy scope.

What happens if an account is suspended?

Suspended accounts can be restricted from posting, publishing, communication, or premium tools depending on enforcement level and duration.

How is file sharing different from messaging?

Messaging is core communication. File-sharing is storage-heavy and may be plan-gated or moderated more aggressively. This keeps communication open while controlling abuse and infrastructure cost.

What Is Faceless
Animal Studios?

What is Faceless Animal Studios?

Faceless Animal Studios is an independent creative platform based in Providence, Rhode Island — built by DJ Faceless Animal. It started as a page-building service for underground artists and creators, and has grown into a full ecosystem.

The platform covers five areas:

  • Creator Pages — custom identity pages for artists, gamers, businesses, and creators at every level
  • Music — DJ Faceless Animal's releases, mixes, and production work
  • Games — Stages of Mazes and future game projects built in-house
  • Faceless Supply — curated merch, streetwear, vintage electronics, and digital drops
  • Creator Network — an open community board for everyone on the platform
Built independent. No investors. No corporate structure. Everything here is funded and built by the studio itself — which means decisions are made for the culture, not a pitch deck.
Who is behind the studio?

DJ Faceless Animal — underground DJ, producer, and platform builder, Providence, Rhode Island. The studio is independently operated. No outside funding, no partners, no investors. Just someone who wanted a better option for creators who don't fit the standard template, and built it themselves.

Is this just a web design service?

No. Page building is one part of a larger ecosystem. The studio also produces original music (DJ Faceless Animal), builds games (Stages of Mazes), runs a culture-driven store (Faceless Supply), and maintains an open creator network. Creator pages are the on-ramp — the platform is the destination.

Built for
Who?

Who is this platform for?

Anyone who creates something and needs a real online presence — not another cookie-cutter bio link. Specifically:

  • DJs, producers, and musicians who need a page that matches their sound
  • Gamers and game developers building an audience or showcasing a project
  • Visual artists, photographers, and graphic designers
  • Small businesses and brands who want something more personal than a generic site
  • Creators, writers, podcasters, and collectives at any stage
  • Underground artists who don't fit the mainstream platform mold

If you move different, there's a spot for you here.

Can artists, gamers, and businesses all use this?

Yes — all three, and more. The platform is built to handle completely different creator types without forcing everyone into the same box.

  • Artists and DJs — music player, release links, booking contact, press bio
  • Gamers and game devs — project showcase, trailer embeds, platform links, dev blog section
  • Businesses and brands — service listing, contact form, social links, professional layout
  • Collectives and crews — multi-member pages, shared identity, network listing
The intake form lets you choose your creator type. Your page is built around what you actually do — not a one-size template.
Do I need to be established to join?

No. The free tier exists specifically so people at the start of building something can have a real presence from day one. You don't need a following, a label, or a portfolio. You need a name and something to say — we'll build the page.

What the Free
Plan Includes.

What do I get with the free tier?

The Free Presence plan is a real hosted identity page — not a trial, not a reduced preview. Here's exactly what's included:

  • Hosted at facelessanimalstudios.com/yourname — a real, permanent URL
  • Profile photo or image
  • Display name and short bio
  • Up to 8 external links (Spotify, YouTube, Instagram, TikTok, etc.)
  • Mobile-first, dark-themed layout
  • Listed in the Faceless Animal Studios Creator Network
  • "Powered by Faceless Animal" badge on the page
The only difference between Free and paid is design depth, custom domain support, additional sections (music player, contact form, video), and removal of the "Powered by" badge. The Free page is real — it's just the foundation.
Is the free plan actually free forever?

Yes. $0 forever. No credit card required, no trial period, no auto-upgrade, no expiration date. The "Powered by Faceless Animal" badge stays on the page — that's the only trade-off. Your URL and content are yours as long as the platform runs.

Can I upgrade from Free to a paid plan later?

Yes. Upgrading is intentionally seamless. Your bio, links, photo, and URL all carry over — nothing gets wiped. You pay the plan price for the upgrade and your page gets rebuilt with enhanced design, additional sections, and (on Pro/Premium) custom domain support. No starting from scratch, no data loss.

Upgrade path: Free → Starter ($30) → Pro ($55) → Premium ($105). Each step builds on the last. You're never locked into a tier.

Building Your
Presence.

How long does setup take?

Most pages are live within 3–5 business days after we have everything we need from you — bio, links, photo, and any additional content for your plan level. The clock starts once we have your complete assets, not from the day you submit the form.

  • Free & Starter: 3–5 business days
  • Pro: 5–7 business days (additional sections)
  • Premium: Up to 2 weeks (fully custom, revisions included)

We'll confirm your timeline when we reply to your intake.

Do I need my own domain?

No. Free and Starter pages are hosted at facelessanimalstudios.com/yourname — no domain purchase needed. If you want your own URL (like yourname.com or yourband.com), the Pro and Premium plans include custom domain connection.

Domain registration is handled by you through any registrar (Namecheap, Google Domains, etc.) — you own it. We handle the connection and configuration. Domain costs are not collected by us.
What do I need to provide to get my page built?

The basics are the same for every plan:

  • Your display name and preferred page handle
  • Short bio (1–3 sentences)
  • Profile photo (square, minimum 500×500px)
  • Links to your platforms (Spotify, YouTube, Instagram, etc.)

Higher-tier plans may need additional content — a longer bio, social media handles, press photos, or specific sections. We'll tell you exactly what's needed when we confirm your plan.

What makes this different from Linktree or a standard bio link?

Linktree is a widget. These are full custom-built HTML pages with real design, real identity, and room to grow into a complete creative presence.

  • Your page lives on a platform with cultural credibility — not a generic bio link service
  • Dark, premium, underground aesthetic — not startup-clean templates
  • Part of an active creator network, not an isolated link dump
  • Upgradeable into full artist/business/game dev pages with real sections
  • Built by a human who understands the culture, not generated by an AI template builder
Can I update my page after it goes live?

Yes. Minor updates — link changes, bio edits, swapping a photo — are included. Larger structural changes or full redesigns may be quoted separately based on scope. Reach out via email with what you need and we'll give you a straight answer on what it involves.

Costs &
Plans.

Are the paid plans subscriptions?

Page packages (Starter, Pro, Premium) are one-time Stripe payments — setup and platform access bundled into a single checkout. No recurring charges for those plans.

  • Starter — $30 all-in (setup + platform access via Stripe)
  • Pro — $55 all-in (setup + platform access via Stripe)
  • Premium — $105 all-in (setup + platform access via Stripe)
  • Platform Access (standalone) — $5/month for free page members who want to unlock membership perks without a paid build. Optional — not required if you buy a page package.
Free pages have no fee, ever. Paid page packages are one-time all-in payments. The $5/month Platform Access option is only for free members who want to activate membership perks separately. Domain registration (custom domain) is billed through your own registrar.
What's the difference between the paid plans?
  • Starter ($30) — Hosted page at /yourname, enhanced design, no "Powered by" badge, unlimited links · platform access included
  • Pro ($55 all-in) — Everything in Starter + custom domain support, music player, video embed, contact form
  • Premium ($105 all-in) — Fully custom-designed page, multiple sections, revisions included, priority build time
  • Platform Access — Bundled into all paid plans via Stripe. No separate charge.

Full comparison is on the Pricing page.

How do I pay?

Two options — Stripe (card) is live now with direct checkout links on the Pricing page. Cash App also works if you prefer.

Card via Stripe (live): Hit the checkout button on the Pricing page for your plan. Instant confirmation — your build slot is locked the moment payment clears.

Cash App: Send your package amount to $Jamespropane00. Drop your name, which package, and your email address in the note — so we can reach out about your build and any custom options.
Do you offer refunds?

If your page hasn't entered the build phase yet, we can work something out. Once the build is underway, refunds are not available since the work is custom and time-invested. If there's an issue with the finished page, we'll fix it — reach out directly and we'll handle it.

Where This
Is Heading.

Will more features be added later?

Yes — and that's by design. The platform is intentionally in early-stage mode, which means the people who join now have real influence over what gets built.

Features being developed or planned:

  • Self-service page editing — update your own bio, links, and photo without emailing in
  • Embedded music player for DJ and producer pages (Pro tier)
  • Digital drops marketplace — buy and sell sample packs, beats, and creator tools directly on the platform
  • Game dev showcase sections with trailer embeds and progress updates
  • Creator Network expansion — more filters, categories, and social features
  • App integration — mobile presence and push notification support
  • Supabase-powered form backend — automated intake, page builder, and account management
Early members shape the roadmap. If you're on the platform now and something is missing that you need, say so — it's more likely to get built if real people are asking for it.
What are Stages of Mazes?

Stages of Mazes is an in-development game project being built under the Faceless Animal Studios label. It's being developed in-house and will be available through the platform when it's ready. No release date yet — but it's real and in progress. Follow the DJ Faceless page for updates when they drop.

Is there a mobile app?

Not yet. The current platform is web-based and fully mobile-optimized — all creator pages load and function cleanly on phones and tablets. A native mobile app is part of the longer-term roadmap. No timeline to announce yet.

The Store &
Drops.

What is Faceless Supply?

Faceless Supply is the commerce arm of the studio. It's not a generic merch store — it's a curated cultural market with four categories:

  • Studio Merch — Faceless Animal Studios branded clothing and accessories
  • Curated Streetwear — thrifted and secondhand pieces, sourced with intent for fit, quality, and relevance
  • Vintage Tech — used retro gaming consoles, vintage electronics, and audio gear
  • Digital Drops — downloadable sample packs, beats, creator tools, and digital assets
How do I buy from the store?

The store is currently in the early build phase. Direct purchase checkout is not yet live. To inquire about a specific item or category, reach out via email and we'll reply with availability and how to buy.

Email: djfacelessanimal@gmail.com — include what you're interested in and where you're located (for physical shipping quotes).
What are digital drops?

Digital drops are downloadable releases sold directly through the platform — no third-party marketplace required. Current and planned drop categories:

  • Sample packs (drums, FX, atmospheres, loops)
  • Beat packs and original music releases
  • Creator tools and templates
  • Game-related digital content from Stages of Mazes

Sign up via the intake form to get early access when new drops go live. Free members get notifications — paid members get priority access.

Where is the thrifted clothing sourced from?

All secondhand and thrifted pieces are personally curated by the studio. Urban, baggy, vintage-influenced, and selected for quality and cultural fit — not just bulk-filled inventory. Each piece is cleaned and ready. Think era-specific sportswear, streetwear from the early 2000s, and oversized essentials — the kind of thing you actually want to wear.
